The XTRA series are Maximum Monitoring Power Controllers (MPPTs) for off-grid photovoltaic systems with optional imaging modules (XDB1 / XDS1 / XDS2). In order to maximize the energy harvest from photovoltaic arrays and at the same time minimize power loss over a wide range of operating conditions, the XTRA series implements an advanced intelligent algorithm, which results in up to 30% higher efficient charging, compared to a conventional pulse width modulation charge (PWM) regulator. The Xtra series controller has a limit protection function for the power supply and the charging power, as well as for the automatic reduction of power at high temperature. The above protection ensures the stability of the system even in excess of the rated photovoltaic power and in conditions of excessive temperature. .

The XTRA series controllers incorporate a three-stage self-adaptive charging algorithm based on a digital control circuit, which extends battery life and significantly improves system performance. It also has extensive electronic protection for overcharging, discharging, reverse polarity of photovoltaics and batteries, etc. to ensure the viability and durability of the solar system.
