SmartShunt is a battery monitoring system, only without a screen. Your phone acts as a screen.
The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) and you can easily read all monitored battery parameters,such as charging status, time, historical information and more.
Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected to and read by a GX device.The connection to the SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable.
SmartShunt is a good alternative to a BMV battery monitor,especially for systems where battery monitoring is required but less wiring and clutter is desired.The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection which can be used to: monitor a second battery, monitor the medium or a temperature sensor.
